Welcome to Ritzy Bitzy Mama: A Journey of Heart, Growth, and Connection

Hi there, and welcome to *Ritzy Bitzy Mama*—a place where we share stories, insights, and moments that help us grow as parents, human beings, and, most importantly, as individuals. My name is Monica, and I’m so glad you're here, taking a step into this space where the real, the raw, and the beautiful collide.

As a mom of four incredible girls, life often feels like a whirlwind of laughter, chaos, and love. I’ve been shaped by my own experiences, including navigating grief, trauma, and living with disabilities. I grew up in a home with disabilities, and now, as a parent raising children with complex medical needs, I’m constantly reminded of the strength it takes to show up each day. But through it all, I’ve learned that connection—whether through deep conversations, shared experiences, or simply showing up for each other—is what makes life worth living.

*Ritzy Bitzy Mama* is not just a blog. It’s a community. A space where we can come together to learn, laugh, and support one another. It’s a place where I’ll share my personal stories—stories of grief, healing, and the unique challenges I face as a parent with my own set of diagnoses. But it’s also a place where we can find joy in the everyday moments: funny parenting anecdotes, heartwarming stories, creative activities to do with kids, and yes, even a recipe or two that I swear by in my own kitchen.

I know that life isn’t just about the good times. It’s about the messy moments, the hard days, and the quiet victories that often go unnoticed. This blog is a reflection of all of that. It’s a labor of love, a place where I hope to connect with others who are navigating similar paths or simply looking for stories that resonate.

I believe in the power of deep conversations over small talk. I believe in the importance of learning from one another and lifting each other up. I can’t wait to share this journey with you and to see how *Ritzy Bitzy Mama* grows into a space where we can all connect, heal, and grow together.

Thank you for being here. I’m so glad we found each other, and I can’t wait to share more of this journey with you.

With love,

Monica Ritz
